🛡 Insurance Carrier Program

The coverage gap your policyholders are asking about.

Cyber and identity protection policies cover data breaches, fraud remediation, credit monitoring. But NCII — the fastest-growing category of digital harm — is covered by almost no policy in the market today. IntimaShield is the fulfillment layer carriers need to close that gap without building anything new.

The Coverage Gap

What your cyber policy covers. What it doesn't.

Today's identity and cyber policies were designed for an era of data breaches and credit fraud. The harm landscape has shifted — and NCII is the coverage gap that's growing fastest.

✓ Typically Covered Today
  • Data breach notification costs
  • Credit monitoring (12–24 months)
  • Identity theft remediation
  • Fraud reimbursement
  • Dark web monitoring
  • Social Security number restoration
✗ Not Covered — The Gap
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery removal
  • Deepfake image/video takedown
  • Revenge porn crisis response
  • Multi-platform content removal
  • AI-generated NCII remediation
  • Take It Down Act claim processing
The Claim Flow

How an NCII claim works end to end

The entire workflow is designed to require zero new infrastructure on your end. You approve the claim; we execute the removal; you pay a fulfillment fee.

01
Carrier

Add NCII rider to policy

Work with IntimaShield to define the covered event (NCII, deepfakes, or both), the claim trigger (policyholder self-report), and the benefit (one crisis takedown per policy year, or continuous monitoring). IntimaShield provides actuarial data to support rider pricing decisions based on population utilization rates.

02
Policyholder

Policyholder files a claim

An affected policyholder contacts your claims team through your existing channel — call center, claims portal, or app. They report an NCII incident. Your claims adjuster reviews the claim using a simple eligibility checklist IntimaShield provides — no technical expertise needed to approve.

03
Carrier

Carrier approves and issues authorization

Your claims team approves the claim and generates an authorization code — either via IntimaShield's API (if integrated) or by contacting your IntimaShield carrier representative directly. The policyholder receives the code. Approval-to-activation typically takes under 2 hours.

04
Policyholder

Policyholder activates their case

The policyholder visits IntimaShield.com, enters their authorization code, and completes intake — describing the content and identifying platforms. This is done privately, without returning to your claims center. No sensitive content is viewed by IntimaShield staff unnecessarily.

05
IntimaShield

Removal executed — 48–72 hour SLA

IntimaShield initiates removal requests across all named platforms simultaneously. Platform trust & safety teams are engaged directly. The policyholder receives status updates. At case close, IntimaShield generates a case completion report — suitable for your claims file documentation.

06
Carrier

Monthly carrier billing

IntimaShield invoices your carrier monthly for all completed cases in the prior period — a per-claim fulfillment fee negotiated in your carrier agreement. No per-case approval needed after the initial policy setup. Bulk invoicing keeps carrier AP overhead minimal.

Why Partner with IntimaShield

What you get from the partnership

📉
Low average claim cost

A single crisis takedown resolves the acute harm event. Fast resolution means lower psychological harm costs, fewer downstream claims (therapy, legal), and faster case closure. The per-claim fee is a fraction of what delayed intervention costs.

🏆
Competitive differentiation

No major carrier offers NCII coverage today. Being first to market with a credible, fast-acting NCII rider is a genuine product differentiator — especially for policies targeting younger demographics where NCII prevalence is highest.

Zero infrastructure build

IntimaShield handles all technical operations. Your team approves claims using an existing workflow. No new software, no new intake process, no new vendor management overhead beyond a single carrier agreement.

📊
Actuarial data access

IntimaShield provides aggregate utilization data — claim frequency by demographic, resolution rates, platform distribution — to support rider pricing and reserve decisions. Data updated quarterly.

🏷
White-label option

For carriers who prefer a fully branded experience, IntimaShield's fulfillment can operate under your brand. Policyholders interact with "[Your Brand] Digital Harm Services" — IntimaShield operates as the invisible backend.

⚖️
Regulatory alignment

IntimaShield's operations are aligned with the Take It Down Act (2025), BIPA, and COPPA. For carriers navigating state-level NCII reporting requirements, partnering with a compliant fulfillment provider reduces regulatory exposure.

Partnership Options

Two ways to structure the relationship

Option A
Preferred Vendor Arrangement

IntimaShield is listed as your preferred NCII removal vendor. Claims reps refer policyholders to IntimaShield using a carrier-specific code. Policyholder pays IntimaShield directly at a negotiated policyholder rate; carrier is reimbursed per your existing benefit structure. Fastest to implement — no integration required.

Option B
Fully Integrated Rider

NCII removal is embedded as a named covered benefit in your policy language. Claims processed through your existing claims portal; IntimaShield receives authorization via API. Carrier billed monthly per-claim. White-label available. Higher implementation lift but highest policyholder experience quality.

FAQ

Questions from carrier partnerships teams

How do you define a covered NCII event for policy language purposes?
We work with your policy team to define the covered event in language suitable for your policy form. A standard definition covers: intimate imagery shared without the subject's consent, including AI-generated or deepfake content, distributed via digital platforms without authorization. We've worked with legal counsel to develop definitions that are both specific enough to limit moral hazard and broad enough to cover the full range of NCII harm categories.
What's the expected utilization rate for actuarial modeling?
Based on population-level NCII prevalence data, we estimate 1–3% annual utilization for a general adult policyholder population, with higher rates (3–6%) for policies targeting 18–35 year olds. We provide aggregate utilization data from our existing case volume to support your actuarial team's reserve modeling. NDA required for detailed data access.
What's your API integration timeline and specification?
API integration (Option B) typically takes 4–8 weeks from signed carrier agreement to production. We provide REST API documentation, sandbox environment access, and a dedicated technical integration contact. Option A (preferred vendor) can be live in under 2 weeks — no technical integration required.
How does the white-label option work?
In white-label mode, policyholders interact with your brand throughout — your portal, your communications, your branding. IntimaShield operates as an invisible backend. The policyholder-facing interface is customized to your brand standards. Carrier agreement specifies branding guidelines. Requires the Option B integration.
What documentation does IntimaShield provide for the claims file?
At case close, IntimaShield generates a case completion report including: platforms where removal was requested, platforms where removal was confirmed, timestamps, and summary of actions taken. This is suitable for your claims file and satisfies standard documentation requirements. The report does not include sensitive content descriptions unless specifically requested and authorized.
